Is that original lume or were they re done. I've read that a re lume can look very nice and yours certainly does. If it is a re lume that is.

·I don't believe it to be a relume and if it is, like you say it is an excellent job. The watch is how I purchased and all I have done is have it serviced.

·Today, I feel slightly ashamed 😬 but today my seiko solar beater, oh mercy, it has a battery 🙁!!! Spent much of the day looking after my six week old nephew, and my cosmic moonphase I doubt, would be very resistant to baby puke and poo!

Airane Type 20 (though I think technically it is a Type 21), issued by the French Army to helicopter pilots. This example is circa 1969, Valjoux caliber 222 with flyback or "retour en vol" feature. The three star mark indicates chronometer certification by the Besançon Observatory.
