Two weeks on the wrist now, and I think I am addicted to it. I'm wondering when (or if) the novelty will wear off. I still plan on putting a nicer strap on it. Caliber 355, date at 6:00, circa mid 1950s. Resurrected from a box of Omega bumper automatic parts. NOS Omega case.

Most of last week was wearing my old Breitling Colt Automatic (it is just such a great beater watch). For the last thee days, I have gone back to the Seamster 300 Master Co-Axial, and am stunned by its beauty. I think it is quickly becoming my favorite watch. I just love looking at it.

@Giff2577...OK...that's the style and color NATO I'm looking for...for my Longines Hour Angle chronograph (Mr. Long Jeans). So I ask you, Sir, what brand is that NATO?

Oh...nice watch too! 馃憤
Thank you for the complement! I picked it up at http://www.cheapestnatostraps.com/collections/leather-nato-straps
I don't remember what color it was as I purchased it a few years ago. I guess we get a discount there now as I read that in the OF sales forum. This one has a natural leather feel to it where as another I purchased there seems to be plastic coated? I was happy with the nylon straps I purchased there too.

Not too much longer. The majority of my remaining Zodiacs are in my bench awaiting me to find the time to fix them. Don't worry Omega fans, I have more of what my 5 yr old calls "horse shoe" watches in my small collection than Zodiacs.
I took off the triple date and "wore" this while mowing today.

Wearing Speedy Gonzales on the Omega black coated nylon NATO strap...with 25 year old U.S. Navy issue ISRATEX NOMEX (CWU-36/P) flight jacket*, 30 year old U.S. Navy issue Randolph Engineering sunglasses and second hand black Lacoste polo shirt* from some used clothing store down the street.

*NOTE: Multiple popped collars require years of academy training...do not attempt if not properly trained.

Yes. Thanks!

I only recently 'rediscovered it deep in an unused drawer...

Had the movement serviced and crystal replaced to its present condition.
