That's because you appear to be doing it over an MG engine block. Run it uphill with the lights and the fans on - should overheat in no time.

I know what this is =). With that strap it doesn't even matter what the watch is. Is this the Chocolate or the US edition?

Yes, they do tend to run hot. I decided to rebadge my crummy grill with the blank plate badge off an MGA. Good eye! Now I just need to get a Smiths watch to go with my Smiths dash gauges.
