My Speedmaster hasn’t appeared on its bracelet in WRUW for several years. I had sent it out for adjustment, but the fellow also polished it enthusiastically without permission and dulled the bright accents in the bracelet.
I was in Watch Preserve in Fort Worth, Texas a few months back and mentioned the bracelet’s plight to Nic, the owner. He offered to rectify the bad polish for me. So, I left it with them.
They completed a nice restoration and were quite reasonable. While l prefer the Speedy on its old horween strap the bracelet is most welcome in Texas in summer.

Note to @elephantcage - thanks. No story behind my tennis bracelet other than I’ve wanted one for 10 years at least. I’m pretty active in the vintage/antique/estate jewelry world on Instagram so when the right opportunity came along, I availed myself of it.
Are you getting paid to represent dunkin'? You should be, great product placement. I have no idea what it is thought, hot coffee for the crew?
And this ol' thing again.
I don’t get paid by Dunkin’…I’m just an enthusiastic Dunkin’ chugger. I will say that several years ago Dunkin’ did give our masters road racing cycling team $1,000 which was for our race kits (uniforms)…there is a Dunkin’ logo on our jersey. We landed that sponsorship due to my enthusiastic Dunkin’ chugging.
Also, I don’t often share the Dunkin’ Box O’ Joe with the crew. If I had just purchased the Box O’ Joe and had not chugged from it yet, I always offer to share it with the crew but I rarely have any takers.
Currently in Bennington VT. Having a bit of a road trip holiday from UK. Bought from our very one Spacefruit a couple of months ago and running beautifully.
