To the day, or month? Because I was 60 yesterday. I know you won't sell it.
Happy belated birthday!

These two just arrived home today from a Thai vacation with Rob B of https://www.accutronwatchpage.com/. Excellent service experience, took about 12 weeks for the round trip.

Accutron 214 M4 (1964) and Accuquartz 224 N5 (1975). The two "ends" of the line. Both were "extras" in their respective bulk auction lots and they've become keepers. Yes, I'm wearing them both.

I cannot believe how smooth the sweep is, the hum and how fast the index wheel is moving.

The 214 is a classic jet-age design with a tropical dial that grabbed my eye and I just had to get it serviced. Peep that applied tuning fork at 12!

I had the perfect expandable bracelet in stores, and I hate expandable bracelets. Except this amazing DeRobert Geneve number.

The 224 is such the geometric 70s beast, on its original bracelet. A period box for it popped up recently, for cheap.

We have a red alert heat warning in London over the next couple of days. I appreciate that ‘hot’ here is probably ‘normal’ to many of you but it does mean an earlier walk for Jim and me …

It really doesn’t matter if your hot is someone else’s normal. It’s what your body is used to. We had an early heatwave breaking 100f with pure humidity I was miserable. I was just getting used to winter.
