A perfect late 60s dress watch:
  • clean jet-age case, edging towards a funky cushion
  • crosshair dial
  • blue stone hour markers and fluted bezel to show luxuuurrry
  • bragging about: 30 jewels, shock protection & day date

1967 Seiko 8306-8040 with a monobloc sea lion case.

And a MemoSail lurking in the background.
I always enjoy watches that have their text not centered on the 12-6 axis. A simple thing to move it to the side, but it achieves a whole new look.

At first glance, I thought the back drop displayed the toothbrushes on a shelf in your bathroom 😬🤪

Just picked up my 1985, 6309-7290 Slim Turtle from my watchmaker after a full service. New mineral crystal, and Vintage Time Australia seals installed. Never had a German datewheel, so that's pretty cool.

I had been waiting a long time for a recent Speedmaster that I wanted to buy, and with the thanks of my family for a significant birthday......I'm wearing this amazing watch today. Its a stunning watch in real life and truly something I will treasure forever 😍
