·Once upon a time I picked up 3x Exactos from from a random auction in ostensibly new-old-stock condition. Completely clean movements, not a spec of wear. All rocking ETA 28xx movements. Exacto was apparently owned by Rado. Sold 2 of them over the years and this one was the keeper, the "Royal-Oakish" case is lovely. Don't let the case fool you, the bezel is NOT screwed to the case they're a singled milled piece.
BUT it had a perpetually loose crown that wouldn't, for the life of me, stay on the stem (for all the blue loctite in the world). Got frustrated, and put it away for like year until I remembered to get some red loctite. Got all ready to try to fix the damn crown again and, what do you know, the crown wouldn't come off the stem. No idea, so I took the win.
I've mounted it on the most curious "solid" new-old-stock Kreisler bracelet, found on eBay from a local seller and cheap. The leather is bonded to thin strips of stainless (with brushed and polished pattern) that flex. Will see how comfy it is long-term and it won't be for the warm weather.
