The 5th of my watch finds this summer. I believe this to be a late 50's or early 60's Wittnauer. It came on a vintage Kreisler band I will use on a different watch someday. Paid $10 at that same junk shop a couple of weeks ago.

My 145.022 from 1969 with a JR dial/hands and bezel swap done a few years back. I first had it on a brown leather strap which looked “meh” at best. A maddening color mash-up… Then on to a Forstner mesh which was a good improvement. But I just now fitted the repro flat link bracelet, and it really brings it all together as a design “package” IMHO. Happy Speedy Tuesday.

Thought I had lost this little beater 10 years ago… My wife found it recently in an old purse of hers… I'm claiming she borrowed it and forgot…She's claiming I'm using her purses.
