Change today to my late 1950s Gruen automatic, 23-jewels, gold shell over stainless steel. This one showed up from Heaven knows where, decades ago. It appears to have had very little wear over its 65 or so years. The only Gruen I have ever run into that doesn’t have a Swiss movement. The movement in this one is a German made Durowe automatic.

Hot dog! Speedy Sunday at church…and due to my scan being ridiculously amazing today, I spotted a 3861 sapphire sandwich one pew up [see red circle below]…good thing I was sporting my birth year -64 Ed White…and for the record, my -71 was on the other wrist…

LATE ENTRY: My wife was not the least bit amused at this wrist shot shenanigans during the sermon…but I was so stupendously fast [and silent] with my telephone camera, she wasn’t able to shoot me down regarding the evolution…AND I didn’t get busted by our preacher.

.

Watch spotters in a church !
Other man in church " well there was this dodgy dude taking surreptitious photos of my watch in church police office"
Police officer " well we've got him then, God was watching! "

Bad boys, bad boys what you gonna do when they come for you......

Taken just after hearing the full noon chime today.

Have avoided London on previous trips to the UK, but plunged in today with the keen hand written map with map diagram provided by our own dear Spruce.

Why I acted like a regular ol’ American tourist!
