Yep, had to move fast on it. I sent it to a third party first and itnis 1969. As we thought crown may be a service crown but everything else checks out. According to the watch maker and me now that I'm wearing it the most outstanding thing is that it's either not polished or barely touched. Those edges are sharp, as in cut paper sharp. The jubilee has a couple more marks and may have been polished because it's all shinny. Not sure of that year jubilee was PCL or all polished. I was affraid of the bracelet but it's comfortable. I do have a seventies oyster that will fit if I get tired.
I bought it to commemorate my brother who as some of you know died not too long ago, it's his birth year watch 1969 and also the model we all relate most to him as it was the first watch he got on his collection. I was going to try to get his but we all decided it will stay with his widow and children. I got this on my end.
It is beautiful and goes well with my birth year, a 1971 5512.
