I don't know how it does it but this Space Kings dark blue dial just seems to shine when the light hits it commanding your attention.

When I first discovered this Titoni model I presumed they were a 70's watch but after more research they appear to be an early 60's release 61,62 thereabouts making it a birth year watch for me.

Very few examples of these appear in the West however this one is likely to have spent it's life in NZ being from an old watchmakers Estate. Most examples come from out of the East, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines etc and of course the ones you don't want come from India.

Titoni an independent Swiss watch manufacturer whilst still supplying the West though less, concentrated on the East where the are a well known premium brand but largely unknown in the West.

Titoni has been very amenable to my requests for information on parts and information readily responding to emails even though the subject watches are some 60 or more years old!

I posted this one a few days ago. My 27 year old quartz Bulova Railroader. Later that day I found it to be 5 minutes slow! I rarely wear it, so this was a surprise. I stripped it and cleaned on Saturday, and it has returned to being its customarily reliable self.
