I do have many other watches, but I’m wearing this one again (still). This can happen when you have a watch you really like!

Interesting. I’ve never seen an Astronaut with a calendar! So it can’t be a model 214. Yet I’ve never seen this style Astronaut with a model 218 (calendar) movement. That, plus your watch appears to not have the Astronaut fourth (24-hour) hand! Was this watch made to loosely resemble an Astronaut? Vintage? More info please.
Indeed Bulova 96B207 was made to loosely resemble an Astronaut in 2014 using the Precisionist quartz movement 262 KHz producing 16 ticks per second.

Suspicions confirmed. A “tribute” watch! How is it that this is the first of these I’ve ever heard about.

Waiting for Beck with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. Or as I call it “Two turntables and a xylophone”

Trusty SKX for me, and uncommon Omega Speedmaster Date (last pre co axial 7750 based) aka the Speedy Yemen on FooGirl
