It'll take a while to summon up the courage to take off the back but in the mean-time I can play around with the bracelet! I tried making a strap (with an old strap and an exacto knife) but the results were so embarrassingly poor I dare not even show it.

Trying out straps on this newly acquired Bulova Devil Diver.

You’re probably already on options 6 and 7 but, so far as your pics go, my vote is for the pale suede 😎

Great looking watch

Enjoying my Tudor BB54 as a holiday watch to do anything. The quick adjustment clasp comes in very handy when going from AC'ed rooms to hiking in the heat.

Filling up the bird bath in the early ayem.

Flash shot…

No flash:

And checked up on the spider. This fellow is so big and has been in our window for months. I don’t want to disturb this spider so no window cleaning.

Mate, that is nice. Be very sure you use a quality screwdriver that is the perfect fit and don’t force it. Nothing worse than shearing the heads off those back case screws.

Yikes! I hadn't considered shearing the heads off ! I got a set of Bergeon screwdrivers that seem to be pretty good...any other advice re those screws?
