"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." - Revelations 22:13
In 1981 I was given my first watch, a PULSAR Y112-6009 quartz, by my grandfather, at the age of 13. It the start of my horological journey. The Grand Seiko SBGN029 HAQ happens to be the last watch I purchased a month ago.
44 years later the PULSAR is still running and the matches the Grand Seiko 'tick for tick'.
Just got this Hamilton khaki field bronze mechanical. It's 38mm, as light as a quartz and has a low profile.😊
First mechanical watch I've had for decades.
There should really be a thread, ‘What didn’t you buy today’, but given the number of watches I look at - and don’t buy! - I could probably fill it up all by myself 😳
Anyway, a watch has been appearing in my Instagram thread (algorithms?) and, although I had no intention of buying it, I thought the strap/dial combo was my sort of style
But, I decided to put a similar coloured strap on one of my old watches
