I wear a suit on average once every two years for either a wedding or a funeral…today was a colleague’s wedding. The seldom worn De Ville making an appearance; I love this watch, and it’s one of my coolest watches, imho.
I’m doin it, for a month or two I’ve been trying to get a haircut but things kept popping up making me skip the appointment. Today is it, definitely
Ooh, listen to Mr. Fancy Pants. "I can afford a watch addiction and a haircut".
😉😘
Have had to cut my own since way before Covid. Got pretty good for a while but recently I just can't get it and often get 'bored' half way through and give up for a few days.
Good job I'm a hermit and the fairer sex gave up looking my way (other than in disgust) some time last century. Oh woe is me.
Not actually wearing this one, today. For two reasons, actually. First, Rolex calls this style a woman’s watch, and it is not something I would even wear to test it! It has been adjusted to fit a woman’s wrist, so there is no way I could wear it. It was brought to me by a friend for reconditioning, a task I completed, today. The movement is a 31-jewel, calibre 3135. I don’t know how long she has owned, it but it has 3 Rolex (Canada) repair numbers in it. All in all, it is in nice condition, with the exception of a number of very tiny chips on the surface of the synthetic sapphire crystal. The 50 diamonds are all nicely matched full cut stones, about 0.02 (2 points) each, adding up to about one carat total weight. I showed it to my better half tonite, telling her it was not her Mother’s Day gift. She was glad of that as she said she wouldn’t wear such a gawdy watch!
