Been a while since I last posted in this thread ... so to make up for it, here are two watches, the Longines I've been wearing during the week and the Hamilton that is on duty for the week-end:

If I had to choose of just one year of Omegas at those time, it would be 1958. Beautiful just stuff …

Not much happening this weekend, so I'm celebrating past weekends.

Thankfully my wife talked me out of an M-dot tattoo. (She did not have to try very hard.) But Breitling doesn't sell a 38mm version of their Ironman Finisher Edition to fit my scrawny, triathlete arms. Fortunately, the original Ironman watch brand comes through with a fancy, stainless steel version of their OG Ironman watch, albeit technically JDM only. Not hard to acquire in the US, though.

Love this OG Ironman so very much. I’ve added it to my cart multiple times only to recognize I likely won’t wear it often, and then delete it once again. It looks awesome!

This one might have been worn by the original owner from its presentation date in 1977, upon his retirement, until his death in 2008. I acquired it for next to nothing because it wasn’t working, and the family didn’t want to repair it and keep it. I conditioned it and replaced the crystal. The gold filled case shows some brass, so it isn’t pristine, but performs beautifully. It has the F300 tuning fork movement in it. I now have 24 Accutrons, two Omegas, and one Certina, all hummers. Love them!
