Wearing the Railmaster yesterday in Cloverdale, BC, and happened upon the statue honouring Frank Horne, an engineer on BC Electric Railway Interurban cars who also worked on the Great Northern Railway.

My wife wanted to be part of the WRUW fun!

Web pic of the statue that was better than mine

Uh oh, looks like his watch is slow…

Was in the deer woods most of last week. Am home today cleaning up, putting things away, while smoking a venison shoulder on the grill and wearing the watch of last week's adventure.

Other watches, some new, have since been acquired as alternate "beater watches," but when the going gets tough the Glycine gets going ... since sometime in the 1980s when it was given a $5 valuation and thrown in on some now forgotten gun purchase at a local pawn shop. No longer have the firearm, but the watch is still ticking merrily.
