Planes, trains and automobiles…and for today it’s trains. Got the Lionel set up for Christmas…so it’s mandatory to wear some railroad grade pocket watches…Hammy 950 [circa late 1920s] and Hammy 950 B [circa early 1960s] respectively…both on @DaveK lanyards …
LATE ENTRY: DOH! Almost forgot the bonus pic of the almighty Lionel clock…

I wore my SM last night to an IWC Watchmaking event and am still wearing it today. Sadly, I do not own any watches by Richemont brands, so I had to go in with my favourite watch.

I will write an article on the event soon, but I'll also post a summary with as few words as possible here on OF in an appropriate new thread, with photos, so you won't have to leave the site.

This watch is pretty special to me. A 1955 Waltham, that I found in Israel on eBay. Perfect dial, but the GP case has seen better days. I got it serviced and replated. This is a reminder of what I learned during my early collecting period.

Wearing this one all week. Picked up around the time I joined OF and dropped off other watch sites. A custom piece for my 50th with 50 holes in the patinated brass dial.
