I had coffee with a member of the O B today. He’s local, and upon retirement, he has discovered watches. His collection at the moment comprises several Omegas, several Seikos, a vintage Tudor, and the watch he was wearing is the modern Tudor chronometer with the in-house movement. I took my Rolexes, Omegas, Accutrons, my private label 1883, 18-size Waltham pocket watch. I wore two wrist watches. My Accutron 214 with the double hour hand I posted recently, and my F300 Eterna in an unusual style, sporting a taupe dial. Dam I love this watch!

Thanks for the mention Doug, I learned a lot, looking forward to more togethers. You have quite the collection!

Back to my 'so wrong it's right' Tissot Sonorous PR516 today. Another daily beater which I use as my offshore alarm and daily wearer. I never even bother setting the date on this one, and I absolutely love it.

I love it too, but I would have to put it on a battered and tattered orange canvas "nato" strap. Those would really work together......just sayin'. Great beater though, even without my unasked for input, no offense intended. McK

It's just as it came.... on a very soft and worn red/brown alligator strap. For me, it all just works. Any feedback is good feedback so i appreciate your suggestion mate! I'm pleased to hear somebody else appreciates it as much as I do. The vibrating alarm is pretty cool too 😎
