Svelte and elegant...

...it's hard to believe they're both Seamasters...

...compared with yesterday's behemoth.

Very cool pieces

Mathey-Tissot Divers (best of the best category)

- Ca. 1971 Mathey-Tissot “Mergulhador” Skin Diver - Ref. 1635 - powered by a “Ultra High Frequency” (UHF) Mathey-Tissot signed ETA 2784 automatic movement. (f ~ 28,800 A/h vs. 21,600 A/h) - At 38mm, reference 1635 came with various iridescent dials including turquoise, red and orange. Mergulhador means “scuba diver” in Portuguese.

- Ca. 1975 Mathey-Tissot Skin Diver - Ref. 1631 - powered by a “Ultra High Frequency” (UHF) Mathey-Tissot signed ETA 2784 automatic movement. (f ~ 28,800 A/h vs. 21,600 A/h). At 37mm, reference 1631 came with various iridescent dials including blue, red and green, as well as being available in traditional black. There were identical male and female (Ref. 1633) versions available.

Both the Ref. 1631 and Ref. 1635 are exceptionally difficult to find, especially in nice condition, but a gem of a watch if you do!

just grabbed this for today.
Very unusual and interesting, I like it.
However I would have only been able to keep the morning or the dogs watch in my previous life as they are the only markers that mean something to me. Do they say 10, 11 etc in Japanese?

Been up in Scotland working away all week and this was my rotation piece for the week.
The new Royal Navy type 26, HMS Glasgow is really taking shape now, still a few years before Bond can call on its services but had to be the Omega for the RN.

Seamaster Saturday.

Bought a project Titoni Space King 999 a few weeks back and find it's been filling my desires for a daily wear but until I can stump up the required dollars to get the project underway I will have to content myself with my Seamaster.

Joined a recently formed Delta Air Lines pilot only Facebook group a few days ago…it’s called Widget Watch Club…and you jokers can’t be in it unless you’re a Delta pilot…neener, neener, neener. 😁

There's some very weird stuff going on with this photo....
The raindrop is making the 3 O'clock subdial a little groovy!
