My beautiful croton NG.

unfortunately someone played around with it before I got it. Tried to clean the dial I guess. Also butchered the centre of the dial where the hands go on. Shame it’s such a beautiful piece. It’s now serviced, cleaned and on a lovely red croc strap.
I also had to re-lume as it was black and falling out.

We’re heading for the mountains next week, for our first trailer outing of the summer. I have three or four go to watches for trips to the hinterland. They need to be inexpensive, simple, and strong. This time I shall wear my Hamilton Khaki manual winder which I bought brand new for half price, from a watch retailer who was clearing dated inventory. I rarely wear it as it looks pokey on my large wrist.
