My Astronaut looking as good as it can at this angle with a new Clark crystal. Unfortunately the crystal isn't thick enough at the base to retain the crystal so it will fall off if I turn the watch 90 degrees. Do any of you Accutron aficionados know if there is supposed to be some sort of spacer between the bezel and the crystal? There wasn't one present on the watch when I bought it and it took a decent amount of pulling to get the bezel off when the original crystal was in place. Any help is appreciated with my only moneypit vintage watch 馃榿

Something different today, a Dubey & Schaldenbrand Aerodyn Trophee, ca. 2005. This has a vintage Aurore caliber from the late 30's which was the first shaped movement with sweep seconds and no intermediate wheel or friction spring. Hand engraved gilt finished movement, guilloche silver dial, heavy 18k rose gold case (43mm x 33mm), 175 pcs made.

Yep. He sent me another one for free to see if there was any variation in the thickness but nope, same problem. Nice guy.

Thanks but none of those crystals or watch cases appear to be what I have as far as I can tell.

Ur Astronaut is for European market / release, it also uses a "SWISS MADE accutron movement" as oppose to my astronaut which uses an "AMERICAN MADE" accutron movement (photo below)

Feel better- and don't push the recovery faster than your body can heal!
