One of two for a lazy Saturday. This one is my 60-year old one owner (me) Bulova Accutron 214. This watch has a duplicate of the original dial, it is on its third circuit assembly, its third index wheel, and several cleanings. A lot of watches that have required this much work over 60 years end up scrapped. But this one has been on my wrist for a lot of the important events in my life, and it just might be my favourite watch. A gift from my late father.

Still this. Decided to put on the US1035 while I search out an spare link for the 1171/1. I might even have one somewhere from when I bought the original parts. The US1035 is nice but I wish the first link after the end link was a reall full 19mm across (it's very close, I know) so that it could look a little better in the 20mm 1039 role. I almost bought a Forstner flat-link this morning but I don't want to mess around with the springy links even though I've heard they've proven better than the ones on their 1450 President. I love a Seamaster on a flat-link!
