Yes, it says Speedmaster on the dial...
So, you’ve bought the watch ….. AND the T-shirt 😁

Nope, just the watch. But attention to details, I try to match watches or straps to trousers, sweaters or socks 🤨😎😁

The model that started it all for me and many others. Mine is a 1969 Straight Writing.

By the dawn's early light. Been up all night for work unfortunately and watched the sun rise. I’ve really been enjoying this one the past few days since I wound it up. It usually sits quietly in the box and doesn’t get any wrist time. Even now, I only wear it inside the house. I was starting to think I could sell it to fund something else but back to wondering if I could ever let it go. Would never be able to replace it once it’s gone.

I’m the second owner of this Accutron. I sold it to the first owner in 1969, when I worked for a Bulova dealer. In about 2005 or so, shortly before he passed away, he gave it to me as he had no family to leave it to. I put a new cell into it about ten days ago, and posted a picture in the WRUW thread. Shortly after that, the accuracy went to H _ _ L. The watch had not been serviced for probably 25 years or so, and the movement looks awfully forlorn. So I serviced it Monday of this week. Back into service today. The gold filled case is showing the typical corrosion, so I don’t wear it often. I’ve always liked this model.

Just received from David The Strap Tailor. Not my everyday watch but enjoying it today.
