··London sunburst dial fanI was scrolling eBay a couple of months ago, looking at Seikos and came across this 37mm/19mm lugs automatic/quickset date change watch. It had been serviced and the owner subsequently explained that the original owner had somehow lost the crown, put the watch in a drawer and never bothered getting it repaired.
It was on auction with a starting bid of £60 no reserve.
I was the only bidder and, blimey, it runs like a train and has a huge power reserve as you might expect from a watch that was never worn.
The sort of eBay find we all look out for.
