Sunday is the perfect day for a watch without seconds ... "unhurried" would be the word I'd use. So, today it's time for this Longines dress watch (ref. 7823 from 1974):

This isn’t a 'dibs' although I like (nearly) all the watches you post but this Vostok appears to have got just about everything right.

Attractive case and bezel, nice design, hands and colours and good lume and so easy to read 🥰

Not your average MkII 😁

Nice to see that the Mark II is not as so often the donor watch for a mod 👍

This Gruen, today. A manual wind day/date. Not something often seen. I wear it so seldom that I have to retrain myself as to getting the day and date correct, every time I wear it. At the date change, the date changes first, the day very quickly thereafter. The day can be backed up, the date can’t. Set it ahead until the date is correct, then back it up until the correct DAY shows. Then continue backing up until you reach the correct TIME. A pain in the derrière to set. But I’ve worn an auto wind watch without the date for a while, and that also is a pain.

Good day all. An understated watch that continues to impress me with its design and features every time that I wear it.
