Prepared for Tuesday, so on my wrist Monday evening. There has been much discussion lately about Speedmaster chronographs (not co-axial) running out seconds per day, that I thought I would dig out my 33 year old Speedmaster and set it to the second, and see just what kind of accuracy it is capable of. I serviced it in February (2023), and I think it it quite accurate.

My 33 year old Speedmaster 345.0808 with the calibre 863 movement in it has lost one second in 22-hours. Do I need a modern generation model with a co-axial movement as a replacement? I don’t think so! Worn 24 hours daily with chronograph running. Gotta love obsolete watches!

Sundowners with the TRSD on its new strap. Arrived today, thought it would be appropriate to have a stingray strap on a Sea-Dweller😀

Coffee..
