FOIS for office/light house renovation duty - a welcome change after three days in the field wearing my G-Shock. Training a new batch of conscripts is very good fun, but also hard and time consuming work!

Watching Focus at the movies... Getting distracted.
I can see why you'd get distracted, but let me know if it's worth seeing - I was in two minds about going tomorrow...

It drags a little, I think it could wait for On Demand when you can have a nice bottle of wine...it's not bad but it just falls short by a bit. it's like the director wanted to be Soderbergh but couldn't quite get away with it. Some of the interaction is definitely inspired by "out of sight" but then doesn't quite get to that level.

Thanks - saved me 20 bucks!

And a change for the evening... If my daughters marry idiots, some of their inheritance will get temporarily parked in a PN ... Until then, I got this to tide me over...

Stunning watch. Still learning about watches. What model is it and do they all have the textured dial?

Thanks. This is a Zenith cal 135 from around 1953, with a gilt movement. Later movements were rhodinated. The cal 135 is considered one of the finest wrist chronometer movements ever produced; it won the Neuchatel Observatory wrist chronometer competition five years in a row in the 1950's.

The guilloché dials are unusual. Here are a couple of more plain examples.

I too have switched to the pseudo-Newman for the evening.
