The keys, conductor badge, and shaving kit were my Grandfathers when he worked for Union Pacific out of Kansas City.
It had to happen, I forgot to take off my Geneve before taking a shower. Looks like both the gaskets and the strap handled it. Back to the diver, vintage watches are to fragile for an idiot like me.
Thought it'd be a Connie kind of day but the Household Manager just disabused me of that so it's back to the work beater a day early. Ho-hum...
I'm so bummed I don't even want to take a today shot so...
I decided to break out the Seamaster after seeing another OFer post theirs. Put it in a Bond NATO strap and it's looking good. It is a little chunky but the design is just too good.
I was contemplating selling it but a change in strap gives it new life.
