It was time for a change to a watch with a date feature, today. So I spun the “which watch should I wear today wheel”, and my 33-year old Rolex Oyster Date-Just surfaced. One owner (me) for 33 years, since new. My favourite Rolex dial, ever!
Second pot of coffee with the Saturday morning papers, and telepathically confident that my old mate @noelekal will be doing pretty much the same thing in about six hours from now 😉
Sorry Spruce. The telepathy was off by an hour this morning because we snoozed later.
Dropped off the Kermit at the AD, and it will be starting its trip to the service center in PA soon. Dinner prep with my 68 which I love so very much. I’m enjoying my current attitude of gratitude, and I hope the Forum is also feeling/doing well.
I’m up for a bit of Seiko Saturday.
Crying in my beer after 15-16 loss in SemiFinal of rugby World Cup. Good effort England but just came up short and fell victim to same scrum tactics of SA like they did in the final 4 years ago.
Ha ha I was happily planning on not doing much as I got painting at home tomorrow but my buddy called he is overloaded with work and wanted some “help”.
Somehow he managed to disappear and I’m painting someone’s basement. It’s ok the cash is helpful with watches and I only do it my days off. Put on my painting Vostok, the nato is getting some lovely hues but two decks (red) and I don’t know how many rooms of different color my Vostok seems to like the white.
