my cheap eta 2842 : bought over 35 years ago and zero services but still perfetct running
Isn't it interesting how Swatch seems to know that sealing in a quality automatic movement precludes having to send your watch off every 5 years for service...juss sayin
Great looking watch!
On this Throwback Thursday, I thought I'd do a little show-and-tell on one of the best intentional throw-backs ever executed, the 50th Anniversary Doxa Sub 300. If the anniversary watch had been issued with an acrylic crystal instead of sapphire (and it should be said that the radically domed sapphire does an amazing job of mimicking the look of the original crystal) it would have been absolute perfection.
And, the watch came with a 140+ page hardbound book covering the history of the reference...
...AND included the complete COSC certificate for its chronometer-grade ETA 2824 movement!
Just for fun : I am not yet to @LesXL level but I’m trying 😉
Well, watchwise, you surpassed me... But are we talking watshion (ie watch fashion)? Dial and socks combo 😎
It is a success I must see... Attention is in the details 👍
