Super excited to take delivery of this finally after a long trip for a well needed service. Look past the dress watch vibes, this is truly a bit special in that the mid case is made of a single piece of sapphire. A very rare feature in watches below the stratospheric pricing levels of Richard Mille etc.

Ok, only for a few moments but I wore it today!

I went to visit the pop up boutique in La Jolla, CA and saw the whole collection, including the only Ploprof in the US. Unfortunately, it's on display only and was not allowed to try it on.

I'll be doing a separate post about my visit shortly.

Just sitting listening to Beethoven, Ludwig van: Piano Concerto No 5 in Eb Op 73, Emperor - Evgeny Kissin (pno), Philharmonia (SONY SK 62926).
This one and the Pastoral I just have to stop and listen, to me that are like a brain reset.

San Miguel!

During our mil deployments in the late 1980s/early1990s, we ventured to the Philippines 4 times…and I chugged a total of 516 San Miguels…good times! 😁
