A necessary evil of my Job as an Ops Manager at FedEx. When I was an Admin working inside the office I could alternate between my Speedmaster Co-Axial and Rolex GMT Master II BLRO, but out on the dock moving packages, moving delivery vans and jockeying trailers in the yard, I need something smaller and disposable. These days it's my Apple Watch or a Casio G-Shock.

Note the "Close Your Rings" band, available only to Apple employees. I had to pull some strings to get it, including reminding some folks in Cupertino about past services rendered (long story). 馃榾

It ain't slender, but it's the first chrono I ever dared to take night diving -- and true to Sinn form, it performed a whole lot better than I did.

For Sunday, it was time to get this 70-year-old back out of the box ... my 1953 Lord Elgin "Clubman", serviced last year.
