Some electrical issues. Re-wiring all accessories on the bike.

Did that on an unplanned stop on a group road trip…ended up riding bi**h (non-PC) 500km home. Turned out it was a Lucas issue and beyond my skills.

meanwhile…today’s fated watch. Correct time out of the watch box…shake it and go!

Got my little junk shop LeCoultre serviced. I still question why I did as I may use it as trade or sale locally but I am becoming fond of it I’m pretty sure it’s my only non chrono with a subdial second hand and I always liked that look. See what happens I’ll just enjoy it for now. I can only wear non date watches on the weekends or I screw up all my paperwork at work.

We are headed away camping for a few days next week. Time to swap my Accutron Spaceview for another victim er watch. This time it is my 55 year old vintage Caravelle transistorized date model. Movement made in Japan. This watch was offered at a time when Hamilton was still trying to flog the electro-mechanical Hamilton Electric at 3 times the price of this Caravelle. The Caravelle was a vastly superior watch!
