Not actually wearing this one today, but just received it back from my watchmaker, so I thought that I would share it. 1952 Seamaster 2635 with a rail track honeycomb dial AND Breguet numerals too! 354 bumper. Unpolished case. Sometimes trolling eBay pays off.

Congrats, Alex, you beat Erric to calling dibs. That's no small feat. Proud of you, man!!! 😁

Time to rest the late 1950s Gruen Auto-wind which I have enjoyed for the last ten days. Time also to choose another watch to wear for a few days. My Accutron 214 Spaceview. This one was resurrected from parts acquired from a deceased member of the collector fraternity who loved taking Accutrons apart, but was not able to put them back together! Movement, case, case back, hands, I plucked everything I needed from his accumulation, serviced it, replaced the crystal, and this is the result. I suppose it is from the mid to late 1960s, but the case back is not original to the case, so that is a guess. Anyway, I love it!

Oh, the internal minute track might be misaligned by half a degree or so (circled). Should I worry about that? 😉
Yes that is unacceptable and you should sell it to me! 😜
