Last day of phliegering for a while…have the next 11 days off. Anyway, doing the green matchy-matchy thing today with my 145.022-71 on an Omega mil green polyester NATO…with my green hat and a green ship’s headset to complete the ensemble…

It's the only watch I've ever owned which occasionally elicits admiring comments from the "great un-watched" out there who don't know any better.

And to think that I once thought it could be original. That was before membership in Omega Forums disabused me of that notion.

Forum membership can have the effect of dashing cold, sobering reality onto the neophyte watch aficionado. Still, there are brighter days ahead, once he progresses a little ways beyond his initial ignorance.
