That looks great! Do you have it on a Forstner flat-link bracelet?
Thank you!
Yes, it's a Forstner Contemporary Flat-Link with the brushed/polished combination. I actually like the Omega OEM 5-link bracelet as much if not more, but its lack of micro-adjustments leaves me with a bracelet that's always uncomfortably loose or uncomfortably tight. The Forstner bracelet has eight micro-adjustments.
Hello!
Can I have some more info on this watch! What year was it made? I have seen 1 МЧЗ and know that they were captured towards the end of the war by Germany with Glashütte movements
Off to the beach at lunch time, will need to change this out to something cheap and submersible, Invicta or most likely my Padi Seiko.
Been working on my vintage, refurbishing the 96 year old Petcock on the Autovac which was leaking and smelling out my garage, relapped it all, look dad, no leaks!
Had bought a replacement off AliExpress which took almost 3 months to arrive only to find when it arrived yesterday and I removed the old one that Mr Austin, bless his cotton socks had used a tap with 1/8 BSP on one side and the outlet side 1/4 BSP, Grrrrrr who does that sort of engineering crap! So I was forced to refurbish the aged and very much worked on tap which had the battle marks of past abuse ( repairs) but amazingly it has all sealed up.
144 22 69 dark chocolate, back from a couple of months at the spa. First service under my ownership. Now to finally add those links I bought years ago to its bracelet.
Which one to park, and which one to wear! So I parked the Mido bumper automatic, and donned my rose gold filled jumbo, 2809-2, with calibre 266. I’m the second owner. This watch and the first owner survived a helicopter crash in the late 1950s. I wear it on a reddish brown bison hide strap which suits the watch.
