Another new acquisition. Winegartens was a famous London jewellers that sold in-house branded watches commissioned from well-known Swiss watchmakers such as Nivada and Ollech & Wajs. This NOS diver (20 atmos) was acquired from a chap who lived near the store and scooped up a passel of their watches right before the shop shut down, put them in storage, and has slowly been selling them off over the course of the last three decades. This is one of the last remaining pieces, and I feel lucky to have acquired it!
