·A generic 1950s vintage bumper, today. Just for a change. This one was buried in a bunch of junk watches for about 45 years, until I resurrected it and serviced it. Since then, I has been a surprisingly good performer! Too bad about the chrome plated case. Liban is listed in Mikrolisk. References are all of Swiss origin.

··Home For Wayward WatchesIt's mailbox-painting Mido Thursday with the watch choice of the morning.
Am replacing the worn mailbox at curbside and painting the new one "Hammered Bronze." About to go out this afternoon to sand the metal post in preparation for painting it "Dark Walnut." A plain flat back replacement mailbox on the existing dark gray (with minimal rust) post served the purpose well enough for my purposes, but this makes Mrs. noelekal happy.
Midos are really good "unsung hero," yet still underrated vintage watches!

Edited to add this Pic of one of our daughters wearing this piece in Punta Cana way back in 2015. It was some time after she was back home before I was shown this image, never imagined she would go diving with it it 🤦
Thankfully after a major overhaul on her return it performed perfectly 😀
