I love this watch and every time you wear it I think, why haven’t I got one of these?

I head straight for the Bay, enter 'Timex 6817-7463’ and see what comes up.

They’re lovely looking 🥰

But then I look at the movement and think, ‘it’s not as pretty as the rest of the watch’ ……

If only it had a pretty movement 👎

Was going to wear this Seiko today and I found that I couldn't fit it over my hand.

A friend's watch that I got my Watchmaker to fault find, repair and service but unfortunately my friend is in a different part of the country on vacation so I thought why not.

So it's back to old faithful today.

Some gratuitous shots of this year's crop of sunflowers nowhere near as tall yet as last year crop of 3 and 5 meter giants but there's still time for them to grow.
Note the clouds, just for the 2536th Beetle 😁.

We don’t go nowhere when the ground speed is 0…but we still get paid! 😁

In reality, the biggest headwind I’ve seen at altitude [about 35,000’] was around 110 knots…which probably put our ground speed at about 350 - 375 knots.
