A noob tax Titoni...what is certainly a re-dial that sucked me in back when I was blinded by 'oh, shiny, nice...me want!'

Did it make passage via India? Certainly the brand which sells very heavily into Asia is on the radar for exploitation and value distruction by unscrupulous Indian redialers.
I obtained one recently from an Indian trader based here in NZ that he had picked up unmolested in India on a buying trip with service marks from 1992 but such good luck is a rarity when dealing with Indian goods.

I believe so...a Catawiki snag, of which I had no business bidding on as I had next to zero knowledge at the time. The best advice I can give to someone new in this hobby is simply to slow down!

Nice examples you have there!

Just delivered today... quite pleased (now that I know about back winding, gear slack and back setting).

Today it's about the cufflinks as much as the watch. Anyone who has lived in the Big Apple remember these?

Impromptu eBay purchase. I had one of these in stainless steel in the past that I foolishly sold and given my lengthy career as a rail traffic controller, I missed it dearly. Threw in a bid for this late 50’s early sixties gold filled example….and won it on the cheap side! I’m quite pleased with its warm patina and creamy ultra legible dial. It’s equipped with a hacking and adjusted to 5 positions movement that is a little marvel in itself.

Borrowed movement pic from the internet.
