    Right now, listening to Sir Edward Elgar conduct his Pomp & Circumstance Marches in modern transfers (EMI CD) of original 1926 recordings. Earlier tracks on the CD included several piano improvisations noodled by the composer the following year, and quite amazing and beautiful they were.
