Nicely done. I think that song is a great example to demonstrate how perfectly McCartney and Lennon’s voice went together. It is quite difficult to sing (for me). In the early demos Lennon was taking the high “octave” but apparently it was not comfortable for him to maintain. Beautiful song never heard the cover you put up thanks
There is a documentary about the making of the new basement tapes, unrecorded Bob Dylan songs. In the documentary the female lead singer Rhiannon had a bit of a breakdown and was crying thinking she was not doing the song justice. Imagine having such a heavenly voice and still thinking you aren’t good enough.
