After some sad BS saw a friend off this evening. At his funeral he wanted this song played. His wishes were honored and I noticed it seemed to cheer everyone up a bit, he hoped everyone wouldn’t be bummed out and sad as “death is just part of living”. Not even 40 years old poor dude.

Envy of None's first album dropped in full today, so I had it cranked at 7:30 am this morning! Excellent stuff, and although Alex Lifeson from Rush is in the band, it is very far away from Rush...

I discovered Monty Alexander from Jamaica a few years ago, this is one of his best issues. Great Bob Marley tunes and really well recorded, if you have a good system this will give it a workout.

Completely agree, Al. Light years away from Rush. My guitarist says it reminds him of the band, Curve! Maiah Wynne’s vocals are just terrific.

Love me some Reggae. Lead instrument is the bass. Always loved third world figured out the bass line took me down a hec of a rabbit hole. So many great reggae musicians who’s name I don’t know
