I was listening to Mastodons' ‘Emperor of sand' during my workout this afternoon. Probably not their best album but it got the job done.

Listowel is the real Letterkenny BTW, where Jared Keeso grew up mostly, and where my sister currently lives.

 

No, she grew up down the lane, in Manitoba.

She curses you bc I’ll be binge watching it for the foreseeable future, and even though she’s Canadian, I’m the only one between us who can understand the accelerated speech pattern/accents.

Maybe it’s because I’m from an equally small town in Arkansas, and country folks is country folks wherever ye’ might be?

Cant wait to be done chorein’ today...
