New music... Sturgill Simpson “Sound And Fury” ... The Black Keys “Lets Rock” and a reissue of “No Other” by Gene Clark. All killer! Sturgill, keep giving the finger to the corporation! It’s glorious! Black Keys return to basics. Gene Clark was a tragic genius.

"Sadness grows, sadness stains,
Tears flow again and again"

John Mann, Lead singer of Canadian Band Spirit of the West passed yesterday at 57 from early onset Alzheimer's...

RIP John...your music will live on.

Well this triggered an All Music search and some You Tube listening. Great band. 57 is too young. Hard to categorize them. Happier Decembrists? Will delve further.

They are pretty hard to categorize. Keltic influences are certainly there in a lot of songs, with a little alt rock and folk thrown in too.

Glad I could help spread the word on this band...

This is one of those tracks that I haven't heard in years yet still gets stuck in my head from time to time.

Astounding brilliance. Like everyone else I must have heard this dozens of times, but this is like hearing it for the first time.

I have a lot of Bach mixed in with my I POD library. It’s amazing how well he can follow a ZZ Top track on shuffle(which happened yesterday) . Bach was a rock stah!
