I always try and check out new Felice Brothers albums. You can hear a lot of Dylan and The Band in their work, which is no bad thing.

Squeeze. Up there with the finest pop groups of all time. Saw them on the Argy Bargy tour in 1980, then in 1994 touring Some Fantastic Place. Brilliant, perfectly arranged songs.

Feels like a very slow train till the weekend..... but Neneh Cherry and Matt Johnson are helping. 5 years on this comment still sums it up for me - which is crazy for a song from 1986... Maybe it is really a 1984 album :0)
