Maple Bacon Old Fashioned. Edit dinner.. Maple Bacon Donuts with Fried Chicken.. The place is called Great Maple.
It is surprisingly light. I’m a big fan of Alagash White so I had to pick this up. Despite it primarily being a chocolate flavored stout it’s subtle and well balanced. I have a few more stouts to try over the weekend.
Yeah, that is the downside of some of the stouts. Basically a meal in a bottle so you're limited to a couple or its like an anvil sitting in your stomach. Nice that's it not too heavy.
Ended up being a hot day today and I wasn’t feeling a stout. This will do.... side note, it is very satisfying when your beer actually fills your glass completely.
Believe it or not, this beer is fantastic First had it a few years ago, haven't seen it since but found it while on a scotchpedition
aap, great Italian wine and Chateau Pavie!! Great stuff. I am sure the most powerful in the mouth was the Barolo. Which one did you enjoy the most? Congratulations for the selection.
The exploration of new labels/expressions continues, found this one in Ramstein the other day... Arran, LE .. TGI Thursday!
Wow, nobody's been drinking anything interesting for two whole weeks? Well, I'm doing a sorely-needed night in this weekend, after a number of busy (but often fun!) weeks I just need to decompress a bit. Order in, good movie, no pants, the best. Red vs blue: This is the first new Delirium I've had since first discovering them - here in the US we only get the standard Tremens and the oddly-available-year-round Noel holiday beer. Unfortunately it's a misfire - it has a nasty cough-syrup taste due to this: I made a very good decision not buying the standard 750mL as soon as I saw that - but I love Delirium, so I figured I'd try it anyway. Too bad. So, I powered through it as quickly as I could (as one does; though at 8% ABV doing so is not recommended for beginners) and immediately opened this up, which is more or less a slightly less sugary Blue Moon. Not bad. Pretty standard if you ask me, just like the regular Fat Tire. Then moved on to my favorite scotch so far - The Gemini IV has been my faithful companion throughout
