@Foo2rama you taught me something! I did have some Bulliet a while back (orange label....) and it was pretty decent. Maybe I should get a wee bottle.
Sorry to hear this. Friday when I get together with my friends from Belfast, I'll have a Guiness & a black bush for you! Btw, my wife still loves the little 30mm Omega you sold me. She wears it often although she does forget to wind it.
Bulliet Rye in the green bottle is my go to old fashioned spirit. Actually about 60% of whisky in the US is made to order from one place. it's pretty common even in some of the supposedly high end brands. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...bly-from-a-factory-distillery-in-indiana.html
Trader Vic's Mai tai. Fresh lime, Jamaican rum, Martinique rum, orange curacao, simple syrup, orgeat.
With my new appreciation for Pinot Noir this one was a recommendation from my aunt to my father and now to me. Nice Pinot that isn't expensive
Started off with a new beer from Southern Tier Brewing Company. The "Nu Skool IPA" (Lakewood, NY aka 5 minutes from my gf's family). No photo of this one sorry, but it's a nice light yellow-brown with an small head out of the tap. This was a sweet and malty IPA with a great bite. About half way through it was starting to get too sweet. Next bar I wanted something light and refreshing so a Heineken for me and Miller Light (my go to light beer) for the gf. And then back to Southern Tier with a Tangier. A Tangerine IPA. Citrus IPAs have been one of my favorites lately.
