Is it really? It made me do a mental computation (fine, if I were being honest, I used my phone's calculator ). I've been in liquid lunches / dinners with only 4-6 of us splitting 8-10 wines. That means every person would average approx. 1.4 liters. Of course, these things usually last 3-4 hours over several dishes of food, making the wine consumption seem effortless. Or are you chugging that magnum on its own?!

Something to start off an early weekend.

 

At home after work (9 PM closing), I drink a glass as a stress relieving tonic. Maybe a glass and a half at most. A magnum lasts a week easily.

Out with friends at dinner is another story. A magnum between two couples might only last an hour and a half or less.

 

Trying this today. It's not that good. The michelob amberbock is much better.
